Job description

Product Development Coordinator (Beauty)

Join a fast-paced beauty brand as a Product Development Coordinator supporting an innovative Product Development (PD) team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves beauty, organization, and cross-functional collaboration, and wants hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle—from concept through launch.

What you’ll do

  • Brainstorm and capture new product ideas and concepts with the PD team, ensuring ideas are documented and tracked.
  • Attend industry trade shows, trend events, conferences, and lectures to stay on top of emerging product and packaging trends, and share key insights back with the team.
  • Help define and maintain quality benchmark prototypes to guide product standards.
  • Maintain organized physical product bins, including lab standards, final standards, PPS samples, range boards, and critical vendor submissions.
  • Manage digital product folders and Product Information Files (PIFs), including vendor paperwork, formula approvals, testing results, product artwork, and other key assets.
  • Oversee product samples, including tracking, receipts, and shipping logistics.
  • Track and manage batch submission receipts and approvals.
  • Coordinate required safety testing for product submissions.
  • Monitor project milestone dates and ensure deliverables are submitted on time.
  • Support PD meetings by helping with agenda creation, note-taking, and follow-up action items.
  • Schedule meetings with a variety of external partners, including raw material suppliers, formulators, and packaging vendors.
  • Review PD-related artwork for primary and secondary packaging to ensure alignment with product requirements.
  • Assist with new product formula submission forms and emails.
  • Provide general support on additional PD tasks and projects as needed.

Contract
On-Site 5 days (non-negotiable)

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and curious about how beauty products come to life. You’ll work closely with a seasoned PD team, gain exposure to vendors and partners across the industry, and contribute directly to the development and launch of new products.
