Duration: 4–6 months, with potential extension
Pay Rate: $65.00-$70.00/hour
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead the launch of a new peer-to-peer fundraising solution for nonprofits. This role sits on the Nonprofit B2B SaaS team and focuses on bringing a distinct product to market.
You’ll navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment—quickly ramping on existing strategy and messaging, then driving launch execution with minimal oversight. You’ll own the full launch plan, from refining positioning to post-launch optimization.
Launch Management
Lead day-to-day project management and execution for a major peer-to-peer fundraising product launch.
Refine existing positioning, messaging, and launch plans, driving them to completion.
Coordinate timelines and deliverables across product, design, sales, CS, and marketing.
Surface risks, dependencies, and priorities to keep the launch on track.
Messaging & Content
Define what we’re launching, who it’s for, and why it matters for nonprofits.
Update and improve website copy for the new product and related pages.
Create and refine launch content, including blog posts, thought leadership, email campaigns, announcements, release notes, and sales collateral.
Partner with internal teams to review and approve assets for consistency.
Product & Cross-Functional Alignment
Act as the product marketing lead alongside product managers for the peer-to-peer solution.
Stay aligned on feature releases, roadmap updates, beta rollouts, and naming/packaging decisions.
Collaborate with sales and CS to provide clear messaging, collateral, and training.
Share regular launch updates with stakeholders through Slack, standups, and status reports.
Customer Insight
Collect and organize customer feedback on features, value props, and early product usage.
Translate insights into clearer messaging and recommendations for sales, product, and future launches.
Partner with analytics and product teams to track and interpret relevant performance metrics.
Event Support
Support an early-February event tied to the product launch.
Develop event messaging and materials (slides, talking points, one-pagers) with the broader team.
Work efficiently across tight timelines with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Product marketing expertise (required): Proven experience leading or owning B2B software product launches.
B2B SaaS knowledge: Solid understanding of SaaS models, GTM strategies, and positioning for business buyers.
Launch execution skills: Demonstrated ability to craft messaging, content, and cross-functional deliverables for time-sensitive launches.
Project management strength: Able to drive complex, multi-team launch plans in a fast-paced environment.
Strongly Preferred:
Nonprofit sector familiarity: Experience with nonprofit tech, fundraising platforms, or related tools (e.g., CRMs, donation or P2P fundraising solutions).
Peer-to-peer fundraising insight: Understanding of how P2P fundraising differs from direct giving, donation pages, or one-time campaigns.
