OUR CLIENT IS A FAST GROWING TECH ACCESSORIES COMPANY AND THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A STRONG SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER TO MANAGE BIG BOX RETAILER SELL IN. CAN BE REMOTE FOR THE RIGHT PERSON.

Role: Account Manager – Big Box Retail
– Seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented account manager to support the growth, development, execution, and ongoing optimization of the company’s most strategic big box wholesale partners.
– Primary responsibility will be to nurture client relationships by understanding their needs, developing strategic accounts plans, negotiating contracts for new businesses, and ensuring the highest level of customer service to enable long-term revenue growth and retention.
– They partner with a rep firm on big clients like Costco, Best Buy, etc.; this person will help support some key regional retailers like Meijer (Michigan/Midwest), NFM (Nebraska Furniture Mart), etc.

Required
– As a key contributor within most impactful sales channel, this role will need to be a strong collaborator that possesses equally strong communication skills to drive transparency across all stakeholders in strategic development and solution creation.
– Requires a self-starting strategic thinker with a drive to win and a sense of urgency to compete in the fast-paced consumer products industry.
– Big box person needs to be more operationally savvy, great at forecasting, understands the detail that goes into supporting those bigger box accounts thar are more regimented VS. the Specialty Retail role which is more “Sales” and scrappy
– 3-5+ years relevant Sales & Account Management experience, ideally within the major big box retailers such as Apple, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and Wireless customers
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
– Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence multiple levels of an organization
– Possess problem solving, attention to details, and analytical skills
– Must be a self-starter that shows ownership and commitment to the job
– Action-oriented and flexible mindset to drive impact in a fast-paced, rapidly changing growth environment
– Ability to travel domestically up to 30%

Skills
– Highly versed in Microsoft Office Suite with specific emphasis in Excel & PowerPoint
– Must be experienced in Excel
-Plus if you have Power BI and Monday tool experience or similiar tools.
