We are looking for a Sales Event Coordinator to join our client’s team in this fully remote contract position. This is a 2-3 month contract to start with high potential to extend 3 months. Must be located in the PST time zone.
Ideal Candidate: will have at least 1–3 years of relevant professional experience, strong proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, and advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and executing medium to large regional and national events to maximize visibility and generate leads for the Sales Team.
Support additional lead-generating events requested by Partnership Managers and Sales Leadership, including hospitality, webinars, and other content-focused initiatives.
Manage all aspects of event planning, including:
Building and maintaining relationships with event leaders
Handling attendee registration and payments
Securing suitable event venues
Organizing hospitality events and sponsorships
Partner with the in-house Engagement Team to select event content and gather partner feedback for invitations, advertisements, and collateral.
Enter all leads from events into the company CRM (Salesforce.com).
Monitor and report conference expenses for regional and national events against the budget.
Track event budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Act as the main contact for third-party storage and shipping vendors to guarantee timely and safe delivery of event materials.
Oversee inventory of promotional items.
Collaborate with the Sales Engagement team to distribute relevant event materials and collateral.
Review and refine formal proposals submitted for new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of relevant professional experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
Strong computer skills required; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel highly preferred.
Experience using Salesforce.com CRM is required.
Ability to assess the unique needs of various events and clients, and quickly develop effective solutions.
Proven track record of interacting positively and professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
