Senior Account Executive – Wholesale Apparel

Location: Onsite – Burbank, CA (5 days/week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Executive with established, active relationships across major national retailers. This individual will lead wholesale growth, manage key accounts, and drive expansion within tier-one department store and off-price channels.
Must-Have Experience
- Current, active relationships with TJ Maxx and all divisions, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Von Maur, Belk, and Fred Meyer
- Proven ability to influence assortment, secure placements, and drive immediate revenue impact
- Strong network and credibility with major department store and off-price buyers
- Proven success in women’s apparel wholesale programs
- 7–10+ years of experience in wholesale apparel sales and account management
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow wholesale partnerships across major retail accounts
- Leverage existing buyer relationships to secure placements and expand assortments
- Drive seasonal line presentations, assortments, and merchandising strategies
- Partner with Design, Production, and Planning teams on account execution
- Lead market appointments, showroom presentations, and line reviews
- Negotiate pricing, margin, and promotional programs
- Monitor sales performance, replenishment, and in-season opportunities
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and divisions
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of retail calendars, buying cycles, and merchandising strategy
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
Preferred Background
- Experience in women’s contemporary, fashion, or moderate apparel markets
- Established relationships across both department store and off-price channels
- Track record managing high-volume programs across multiple SKUs and categories
