OUR CLIENT IS WELL KNOWN BEAUTY BRAND IN LA. THEY ARE SEEKING AN EXPERIENCE SELL IN SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER TO SUPPORT ULTA BUSINESS. THIS IS NOT A FIELD ROLE/SELL OUT/THROUGH ROLE. MUST LIVE IN LA. ON SITE!!
In this role, you will own the end-to-end Ulta P&L and be responsible for strategy and execution of levers to drive sell-through and sell-in to hit growth goals. As part of this role, you will lead strategy planning of the account, including planning of launches and assortment changes, off-shelf opportunities, promotional planning, visual merchandising, and retail marketing.
This position will allow you to drive and deliver a sustainable growth plan for the brand in Ulta, as well as driving day-to-day execution, in addition to managing both retail sales and net sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The right candidate will also be an experienced leader, with strong leadership skills to drive to execution by working with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Strategic Planning & Marketing
o Set overall account plan that guides priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/GWP/sets, events and all other parts of the business
o Collaborate with Marketing to develop a full calendar of programming to achieve brand and category growth objectives, while maintaining profitability goals
o Works closely with demand and supply planning to forecast inventory needs, including planning for launches and end of life transitions, to minimize markdowns/DIF
o Lead weekly sales analysis and report into senior leadership weekly – with in-depth findings and recommendations/ action items
• Forecasting and Inventory
o Provide plans and forecasts for seasonal stock and sales plans
o Oversee the monthly feedback process for stock and sales plans, ensuring that changes in sales trends are considered in demand and supply plan
o Partner with demand planning on annual and rolling monthly S&OP process
• Visual Merchandising
o Work with Graphic Design team and VM partners to ensure a best-in-class retail experience, while optimizing capex – for both changes to inline assortment as well as off-shelf opportunities
Qualifications
• A minimum of 4 years in Account Management, working directly with Ulta for minimum of 2 years and all SELL IN!!!
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze retail sales on a daily/ weekly/ quarterly basis to draw insights and action items
• Proven track record of success meeting/exceeding sales goals in an account management role
• Demonstrated track record of partnering closely and successfully with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance counterparts.
• Ability to work in a high volume business with strong P&L management, expertise managing complexity with large SKU counts within beauty category
• Strong knowledge of trade spend analytics and planning/tracking systems
