A fast-growing consumer brand in the beauty and lifestyle space is looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Senior Community Manager to lead and expand its dynamic community programs. This role will own the development and execution of community initiatives across a diverse ecosystem—ranging from loyal brand fans and content creators to ambassadors and college representatives.
This is a high-impact, people-first role focused on deepening engagement, growing advocacy, and driving long-term brand loyalty. You’ll play a pivotal leadership role within the Community team, overseeing key programs and managing a small but mighty team of three.
We’re seeking someone who combines creative vision with strong operational and leadership skills—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn connection into impact. From grassroots activations and content seeding to campus marketing and strategic partnerships, you’ll ensure community is at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Community Strategy & Engagement
Lead and evolve the brand’s community vision across multiple verticals: creators, superfans, college reps, and ambassadors.
Build and execute engagement strategies that drive authentic connection and long-term retention.
Oversee personalized outreach and “surprise & delight” experiences to keep the community energized and inspired.
Team Leadership & Program Oversight
Manage, mentor, and support a team of three, ensuring both day-to-day execution and long-term program success.
Define clear goals and KPIs for each community program and track performance consistently.
Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment where creativity and feedback are encouraged.
Campus & College Marketing
Design and execute college-focused programs, activating reps at priority campuses and tailoring campaigns to regional audiences.
Cultivate strong relationships with student leaders, clubs, and influencers to maintain cultural relevance among Gen Z.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in community management, influencer marketing, or related roles—experience in beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred.
Proven success managing high-engagement programs and leading small teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with brand advocates, creators, and community members.
Experience executing campus marketing strategies is highly desirable.
Passion for community, culture, and building brand love from the ground up.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
