Overview:
A fast-growing consumer skincare brand is seeking a Senior Designer, Packaging & Visual Merchandising to define how the brand shows up on shelf and in-store across global markets. You’ll translate brand strategy into distinctive packaging and retail experiences that drive recognition and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design 2D retail graphics: endcaps, trays, signage, PDQs, gondolas, windows, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Translate brand and campaign concepts into retailer-ready assets that meet partner specs.
  • Collaborate with 3D, VM, and industrial design to align graphics with fixtures and environments.
  • Develop scalable retail visual systems, toolkits, and guidelines for multiple regions and partners.
  • Create planograms, annotated layouts, mockups, and presentations for internal and retailer reviews.
  • Prepare production-ready files; review proofs and installations for quality and brand consistency.
  • Lead design for primary and secondary packaging across launches, extensions, and collaborations.
  • Own mechanicals: dielines, layouts, finishes, materials, and color specifications.
  • Ensure consistency in typography, iconography, layout, and regulatory information across SKUs.
  • Incorporate sustainability, materials, and cost considerations into design decisions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in visual merchandising, packaging, and/or print design, ideally in beauty or CPG.
  • Portfolio demonstrating packaging, retail displays, and large-format work from concept to production.
  • Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of in-store environments, shopper journeys, and retail storytelling.
  • Hands-on experience with planograms, retailer specs, dielines, and precise production files.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, owning projects end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with packaging materials, print processes, and vendor handoff best practices.
