Our client is a well-known bodycare brand that is looking for a new Senior Key Account Manager to joint their team in NYC!

What You’ll Do

The Senior Manager, Key Accounts role is responsible for omnichannel account leadership with a focus on best-in-class retail partnership, fostering excellent working relationships with all members of the retailer merchant teams. This leader will build omnichannel launch plans with retail and internal cross-functional partners. This role will work alongside cross-functional sales, marketing, digital, operations, and finance teams on key projects to build the business in key retailers while driving retail sales growth and net shipments. The role is on-site and requires occasional travel.

This role will report to the Director, Key Accounts.

What You’ll Be Working On

Wholesale Account Leadership and Relationship-Building

  • Manage key account wholesale business for the brand and build strong, collaborative relationship with retailer teams.
  • Grow the wholesale businesses in alignment with shared performance goals, remaining competitive and maintaining top rankings, advocating for brand opportunities with our retailer counterparts.
  • Own retailer meeting preparation including presentation materials, market samples, product samples, shipments, and meeting room set up.

Retailer Support Planning

  • Manage 360 omnichannel opportunity planning in partnership with retailer and internal teams, including digital and in-store exposures for both permanent fixturing and temporary locations, sell-in sales, dot.com, media and social strategy, and sampling and loyalty/CRM initiatives, optimizing key levers and being best-in-class partners.

Core and Launch Strategic Support

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and retailer partners to build new go-to-market strategies and 360 support elements to maximize core and new launches tailored to our retail partners’ needs.
  • Partner with field, education and events internal resources to align on strategy, planning and execution to support core and new launches.
  • Own and manage retailer timelines and deliverables including new product forms, pricing set up and changes, samples, and logistic information.

Gross Shipment Management and Inventory Analysis

  • Build and own key account bottoms-up sell-in and sell-through plan.
  • Responsible for projecting and tracking to gross shipment budgets and proactively seeking out and maximizing sell-in potential.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to sell-in and sell-through plan and generate innovative solutions.
  • Partner with internal and retailer planning partners to develop and communicate detailed plans and ensure adequate inventory support.

Visual Merchandising

  • Partner with visual merchandising, marketing and retailer teams to execute instore visual merchandising deliverables including design, planograms, timelines, (endcaps/towers/gondola) and corresponding inventory planning and support.

Sales Reporting and Analysis

Weekly and monthly sales reporting, analysis, and communication, identifying opportunities, amplifying successes, tracking rankings etc

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree required minimum
  • 4+ years in corporate-based key account management working with retailers. Experience working in beauty industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability; attention to detail and organizational/time management skills.
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources and interpret the data to provide actionable conclusions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships to drive results and can present regularly to small-medium size groups.
  • Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others.
  • Must be able to work in our NYC HQ 3 days per week .

Salary Range

$125,000—$140,000 USD
