Senior Manager, Audience Research

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Audience Research to lead insights initiatives that support strategic decision-making in the streaming entertainment sector. This role focuses on synthesizing large datasets from various sources—including third-party vendors and syndicated research—to develop compelling, data-driven narratives that highlight content performance and competitive positioning.

The successful candidate will manage a bicoastal research team, collaborate closely with sales, solutions, and category strategy departments, and deliver actionable insights that inform client recommendations and marketing strategies. Strong project management and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to translate complex data into clear, engaging presentations for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing multi-platform media performance data to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Developing strategic sales stories to showcase the value of streaming content portfolios.
• Managing vendor relationships and overseeing syndicated and custom research projects.
• Responding efficiently to RFPs and ad hoc data requests to support sales efforts.
• Mentoring junior team members and fostering collaborative cross-functional partnerships.
• Utilizing data visualization tools to enhance insight communication.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of media or market research experience, with a focus on streaming and digital platforms.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing research projects and teams.
• Exceptional ability to develop compelling narratives from large and complex datasets.
• Proficiency in research tools such as Nielsen, MRI, and first-party measurement data.
• Strong skills in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent communication, time management, and client-facing capabilities.
• Adept at working in fast-paced environments requiring agility and collaboration.
