Social Media Coordinator
Location: in-office 3 days per week (Williamsburg, Brooklyn), 2 days remote.
About Us
We are a nightlife and live-events group specializing in nationally touring themed dance parties and immersive music experiences. Every weekend, our shows bring together thousands of fans across the country. Social media is central to how we build community, shape culture, and sell tickets to our events.
The Role
We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support our marketing team in planning, producing, and publishing content for 100+ shows each month. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and collaborating closely with another Social Media Coordinator, you will help concept, create, and optimize content that drives both ticket sales and fan engagement. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly creative, with a direct impact on how our brands show up online.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm and pitch original short-form video ideas tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms, with a focus on shareability and virality.
- Film and edit content that showcases our events, audiences, and brand voice, bringing humor, personality, and a strong sense of internet culture.
- Appear on camera as needed, bringing high energy and charisma to skits, voiceovers, and to-camera storytelling.
- Source, organize, and repurpose archival show footage into new, platform-ready clips and series.
- Monitor trends, sounds, memes, and cultural moments, and rapidly translate them into on-brand concepts for our shows.
- Execute quick-turn content around live events, announcements, and breaking trends, often on tight timelines.
- Collaborate on content calendars that align with major show dates, ticket launches, and key cultural moments.
- Assist with community management tasks (comments, DMs, reposts) to nurture fan relationships and amplify user-generated content.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience growing TikTok, Instagram, or similar social accounts (personal, creator, agency, or brand).
- Comfortable and confident on camera, with the ability to self-direct shoots and deliver compelling performances.
- Ability to produce a high volume of short-form content in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
- Proven knack for clever, funny, or emotionally resonant ideas that perform well online.
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills using mobile tools (e.g., CapCut, native platform editors) and simple design tools (e.g., Canva).
- Deep interest in music, nightlife, and pop culture; familiarity with scenes like emo, disco, Broadway, or indie is a plus.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Based in the NYC metro area and able to commute to our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office three days per week.
