Social Media Manager
About the Role
Our client, a well-known lifestyle brand, is looking for a strategic, hands-on Social Media Manager to lead and grow their social channels and performance; driving brand recognition, loyalty and in turn, revenue. This role blends social strategy, daily publishing, community engagement, and light content creation—turning social activity into measurable brand and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing goals
- Create monthly and quarterly content calendars tailored by platform (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Own day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and optimization across channels
- Actively manage community engagement (comments, DMs, mentions), fostering two-way conversations
- Monitor sentiment and surface insights, opportunities, and potential issues to internal teams
- Create light social-first content (captions, short-form copy, basic graphics, simple video for Reels/Stories/TikTok)
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to source assets and support launches, campaigns, and activations
- Track performance (engagement, reach, growth, traffic) and provide reporting with recommendations
- Test new formats, messaging, and posting strategies to continuously improve results
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of social media management experience (brand, agency, or creator-led business) – ideally within the lifestyle industry
- Passion for an active lifestyle
- Strong understanding of platform best practices, trends, and algorithms
- Proven community management experience and strong written communication skills
- Comfortable creating light content using tools like Canva and native platform editors (basic video editing a plus)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
