What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and enhance scalable backend services that power core product capabilities.
- Develop robust solutions for distributed systems challenges, including availability, performance, and data consistency.
- Work with modern cloud infrastructure and containerized environments, including AWS and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to technical design conversations, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Partner with product management and cross-functional teams to deliver thoughtful, customer-focused functionality.
- Help strengthen team practices through knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentorship of developing engineers.
- Create and support well-designed REST APIs that enable reliable integrations and product experiences.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience building scalable, highly available applications.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, or comparable full-stack development technologies.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with API design, documentation, testing, and ongoing production support.
- A strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, testing, and collaborative development practices.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
