Title: Sr. Art Director

Overview

Seeking a Senior Digital Art Director to concept and execute compelling digital and social campaigns. This role is ideal for a seasoned creative with strong ad agency experience and a deep understanding of digital and social platforms. This will be working on an automotive client and auto experience id highly preferred.

Engagement Details

  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Duration: Approximately 1–2 months
  • Location: New York, NY ((NYC Hybrid or remote)
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Rate: $40-45/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept, design, and execute digital and social campaigns from initial idea through final delivery.
  • Develop visually compelling art direction across web, mobile, social, and other digital touchpoints.
  • Translate brand and creative strategies into innovative visual solutions tailored to each platform’s best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, account teams, and producers to bring ideas to life.
  • Adapt and extend existing campaign platforms into new digital and social assets as needed.
  • Ensure all work is on brand, on brief, and aligned with client design and tone-of-voice guidelines.
  • Present concepts and design rationale clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Participate in fast-turn assignments and manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior Art Director or Digital Art Director in an advertising agency environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital and social work for major brands; auto experience is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in concepting integrated ideas with a focus on digital and social-first thinking.
  • Advanced skills in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar).
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices across key social channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high creative standards.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative agency setting.
