We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Sr. Art Director to lead a dynamic team of designers, art directors, and copywriters. This role is ideal for a hands-on creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment and has a deep understanding of brand development across digital, print, packaging, and experiential marketing. The Creative Director will ensure all creative outputs are visually aligned, brand-consistent, and strategically sound—bringing ideas to life while guiding the creative process from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creative team’s structure, workflow, resource allocation, and overall performance.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality design by developing and managing brand templates, typography, color palettes, visual standards, and tone of voice.
- Lead the development of brand books, creative guidelines, and asset libraries to maintain visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Drive and manage the execution of creative for packaging, campaigns, POS materials, events, digital media, influencer branding, and internal/external presentations.
- Lead the operations of the in-house creative department and collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, product, sales, and international teams.
- Manage prioritization of projects through collaboration with a traffic manager, maintaining workflow efficiency and timely delivery.
- Champion the internal creative process, from intake and briefing to final approvals and asset delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brand, marketing, and product stakeholders to align creative output with strategic goals.
- Recruit, mentor, and grow a talented team of designers and creatives to support ongoing brand and campaign needs.
- Source and manage freelance talent to scale creative output and introduce fresh perspectives during peak periods.
- Maintain a strong creative point of view and serve as a thought leader and brand ambassador in internal meetings and cross-departmental collaborations.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior creative leadership role, preferably within consumer goods, lifestyle, beverage, fashion, or action sports industries.
- Proven experience managing and scaling a creative or in-house agency team.
- Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to guide creative direction from ideation through execution.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Highly organized and deadline-oriented, with strong project management capabilities.
- Experience with campaign development, packaging, digital content, event branding, and brand storytelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
- Deep knowledge of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Mac OS, and digital asset management systems.
- Understanding of production processes across print, digital, and experiential media is a plus.
