Art Director – Visual Systems(Hybrid, Culver City)
Pay Rate: $125.00/hr (w2, eligible for benefits)

We’re searching for an experienced Art Director/Designer who excels at solving creative problems, building cohesive visual systems, and partnering with cross-functional teams. This position is hands-on and concept-driven, ideal for someone who enjoys breaking down complex briefs and shaping polished creative solutions.
Core Experience & Skills
- 10+ years working in senior-level art direction or design roles within strong in-house creative teams or well-known agencies.
- A portfolio that highlights visually sophisticated, idea-driven work created for recognizable brands. Samples should demonstrate original thinking, refined aesthetic sensibilities, and expert craftsmanship.
- Skilled at translating layered or abstract concepts into clear, compelling visual presentations, and comfortable presenting work to a range of partners and leadership groups.
- Familiarity with how user experience and design principles influence visual narrative and product communication.
What Else We’re Looking For
- Ability to present thoughtful creative concepts and give constructive, actionable feedback across multiple design disciplines—typography, illustration, layout, and more.
- A collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills; someone who remains positive, communicative, and steady in fast-moving environments.
- Experience designing for digital ecosystems including mobile applications, web interfaces, and software experiences.
- Expert-level proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; additional skills in motion or other design tools are beneficial.
- Strong grasp of the fundamentals of visual communication and design systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational ability, and capacity to balance competing priorities across time zones and projects.
