Job description

Our client, a growing name in the lifestyle space is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative Senior Web UX/UI Designer to elevate our digital experience and help shape the future of our e-commerce presence. In this role, you’ll partner with E-Commerce, Marketing, Creative, and Development teams to create seamless, high-converting user experiences that reflect and amplify our brand. A passion for women’s apparel, shopping behaviors, and industry trends is essential.

This role is remote flexible. Candidates located in CA, NY, NJ, MA, FL preferred.

Your understanding of our customer’s mindset will help shape thoughtful, relevant, and trend-aware site experiences.

Duties & Responsibilities: Lead UX/UI strategy for e-commerce platforms, balancing performance, brand storytelling, and customer-centric design. Own the end-to-end design process: from concept development and wireframing to final UI and handoff. Design and optimize engaging, responsive experiences across web and mobile that drive engagement and conversion. Collaborate closely with E-Commerce, Merchandising, Marketing, and Development teams to align design with business goals. Leverage user research, A/B testing, analytics, and heatmaps to inform design decisions and continuously iterate on solutions. Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma to ensure visual consistency and scalable design practices. Partner with CRO Manager to develop and test hypotheses aimed at improving user experience and business KPIs. Ensure accessibility, usability, and best practices are incorporated into every design. Work hands-on with front-end developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and a smooth handoff process. Use tools like Asana to manage design workflows, track timelines, and meet project deadlines. Stay ahead of UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and best practices to the team.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred. 7-10+ years of UX/UI and digital design experience, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce and women’s apparel required. Expertise in Figma is required. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Adobe XD, and Asana. Video editing and/or hand illustration skills are a plus. Strong project management and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, strong UI design, and a deep understanding of UX best practices. Ability to identify user needs, anticipate behavior, and translate findings into seamless, intuitive design solutions. Strong visual design sensibility, including typography, color theory, spacing, layout, and composition. Understanding of how UX design impacts KPIs: bounce rate, conversion rate, engagement, and retention. A self-starter with excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
