Growing fashion luxury brand is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Technical Designer to support their women’s luxury Ready-to-Wear categories.
Duties include:
- Evaluate and spec garments for measurement accuracy, construction, and overall quality.
- Prepare samples for fittings, participate in live fit sessions, take notes and photos, and communicate fit comments to vendors.
- Independently execute revisions and ensure all samples are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams including Production and vendors.
- Support tech pack release and pre-production sample approvals as needed.
- Utilize Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Illustrator for technical documentation.
- Apply strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and fit stages to meet seasonal deadlines.
- Contribute positively to a fast-paced team environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical design or patternmaking for women’s luxury or contemporary RTW;categories
- Proficient in garment construction techniques and fabric applications.
- Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A passion for delivering high-quality products in a creative, fast-moving environment.
Salary range $65-85K (DOE )
Onsite W. LA Onsite in house.
