We’re working with a leading intimates brand seeking a Fabric Coordinator to join their sourcing and product development team. This is a Temp-to-hire opportunity located in Los Angeles, CA. Ideal for someone with a background in textiles, garment production, or quality control who is ready to grow within a dynamic team.
Position Overview:
Support the Textile Purchasing and Sourcing Manager in ensuring all fabric quality standards are met before production. You’ll play a key role in managing communications with vendors and factories, coordinating fabric approvals, and maintaining production consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate fabric quality and support quality standard setup
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and factory partners to align fabric specs with production needs
- Track fabric development from sourcing through production
- Communicate daily with fabric suppliers and factories
- Maintain inspection records and address any discrepancies
- Coordinate incoming shipments and identify any fabric quality issues
- Support product development with technical knowledge and vendor follow-up
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in garment manufacturing, sourcing, or textile quality control
- Familiarity with textile standards, fabric sourcing, and garment production
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles, or related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be available to work onsite in Los Angeles, CA
