Temp to Hire- Senior Technical Designer- Onsite- Vernon

We are seeking a Technical Designer – Denim to own the full product journey from concept through final production. This role is ideal for a highly experienced technical designer who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings deep denim expertise. You will lead fit, construction, grading, and quality, partnering cross-functionally to ensure every garment meets premium standards.

What You’ll Do

• Create and manage garment specifications and standards within PLM for assigned categories

• Own the product lifecycle from initial style development through final production approval

• Develop garment fit, construction, grading, and trim using tech packs, flat patterns, and fit comments

• Build comprehensive tech packs with detailed specifications, construction details, and digital patterns

• Inspect samples to ensure alignment with quality and fit standards

• Communicate revisions to overseas factories through clear fit comments and updated specs, patterns, construction details, and sketches

• Execute fit comments efficiently to stay aligned with production timelines

• Review graded nest patterns and issue grading guidelines post-fit approval

• Partner with Product Integrity to creatively resolve quality and construction challenges

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree

• 8–10+ years of technical design experience, with strong denim expertise

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and decision-making skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, sewing techniques, fabrication, trims, and colorways

• Ability to interpret design sketches and translate them into production-ready tech packs

• Experience working directly with overseas factories (onsite Vernon denim experience is a major plus)
