VP of Planning & Inventory Management

Exciting leadership opportunity with a rapidly growing premium kitchenware company. We are seeking a VP of Global Planning & Inventory Management to drive our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and optimize our supply chain operations.

About the Role:

This strategic role leads demand and supply planning teams, overseeing inventory management, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure alignment across the organization. Reporting to senior leadership, you will influence key decisions and lead initiatives that balance inventory availability with cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor high-performing Demand and Supply Planning teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process ensuring alignment across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Use data analytics to improve demand forecasting and inventory replenishment strategies.
  • Develop inventory strategies aligned with business goals and market conditions.
  • Mitigate risks including product obsolescence and supply disruptions.
  • Collaborate with international manufacturing partners for capacity planning and timely production.
  • Partner with logistics and fulfillment teams to prioritize shipments and support promotions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain management, master planning or inventory management roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to develop teams and drive results in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting methodologies and operational metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation abilities with a results-driven mindset.
