Tammy Chatkin-Newman is the Executive Vice President of Global Search at 24 Seven, where she leads the firm’s executive recruitment practice across industries. A recognized force in fashion and creative staffing, Chatkin-Newman has spent nearly three decades building meaningful talent partnerships and shaping the future of the workforce.

Since launching 24 Seven’s West Coast presence in 2001, Chatkin-Newman has played a critical role in the company’s national and global expansion. Her leadership helped establish Los Angeles as a hub for freelance fashion talent, laying the foundation for what would become one of the company’s fastest-growing regions for the organization. Today, she continues to lead business innovation, having defined and launched 24 Seven’s contingency search offering.

Chatkin-Newman is a sought-after expert and dedicated mentor in the industry, formerly serving on the curriculum board at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), and currently serving on the board of the California Fashion Association. She is also a founding member of the Fashion Industry Human Resources Association.

Prior to 24 Seven, Chatkin-Newman built and led the in-house recruiting department at Guess, working directly with the company’s founders through its transition to a publicly traded organization.

A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Chatkin-Newman holds a BA in History. She is a recipient of the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Supplier of the Year Award and a longtime supporter of Step Up through 24 Seven’s community partnerships.
