Job description

Our client is a boutique Experiential Agency hiring a full-time Account Supervisor. The candidates should be experienced in experiential, organized with excellent communication and time management skills. Must be willing to travel and work non-traditional hours. Most their client are in the adult beverage category and experience with these type of brands is a must and knowing NY regulations.

Location: NYC (hybrid schedule)
Salary $90-105k (DOE)

What you will do:
– Mentor and guide junior account team members
– Lead day-to-day aspects of client relationships
– Lead agency communication between internal and external resources
– Oversee program execution including Events, Field Marketing, and On/Off Premise Promotions
– Lead new/existing program ideation, initiate creative briefs, and contribute to brainstorms
– Deliver consumer insights and strategic fiscal planning to clients
– Write masterful decks and expertly present them to Clients (Keynote or PowerPoint)
– Develop, monitor, and manage budgets – work with Accounting Dept on reconciliations, actuals, billing
– KPI development & management
– Have a blast with your clients

DETAILED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
1. Field Team Management
a. Manage new hire recruiting process with HR, coordinate remote interviews and on-boarding,
conduct in-market trainings, support Account Director on field performance improvement plans and
disciplinary action as needed.
b. Train and mentor new field staff, developing their strengths and address potential areas of concern.
c. Support the creation of comprehensive training manuals and protocols.
d. Lead ongoing communications with field team including bi-weekly status calls, rolling out new
initiatives, sharing communications from client, and more.
e. Management of field team deliverables, such as expense reports, weekly/monthly reports, online
reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

2. Program Management
a. Lead day-to-day client communications including but not limited to delivery of regular KPI reports,
build out of field marketing programs and analysis of program through key sales metrics.
b. Develop and/or reviews client bi-weekly status agendas and recaps.
c. Identify challenges, opportunities and wins to AD, substantiated with market-level, solution-oriented
insights and implement those solutions seamlessly; elevating concerns that are not resolved.
d. Share best practices with key stakeholders, recommending implementation of new ways of working
or programming as appropriate.

3. Event Planning & Execution
a. Lead venue research, vendor sourcing and negotiations, premium sourcing and distribution as
needed
b. Manage event logistics, including site visits and scheduling meetings, creating timelines, etc.
c. Execute activations when necessary (some weekend travel)

Position Requirements
– Must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field
– Minimum 4 years of experience within an experiential agency setting
– Minimum 2 years of experience in the spirits industry
– Previous experience managing employees preferred
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Proficient level MS Office
– Creative software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks with keen attention to detail, follow through and meet deadlines
– Solutions-oriented, with the experience in problem-solving and negotiation
– Flexible to work nights and weekends
