Assistant/Associate Designer — Junior’s / Kids category
Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site)
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant/Associate Designer with experience in junior’s, kids or tween business to support a busy design team. This is a temp to hire or fulltime opportunity
What You’ll Do
- Create clean, feminine fashion sketches and flats in Adobe Illustrator.
- Translate concepts into sketches that clearly communicate construction and fit intent.
- Partner with the Design Director on seasonal development, updates, and revisions.
- Support line development across juniors, kids and maybe women’s/ missy categories.
- Assist with design updates and other development needs as they come up.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Design Assistant or Associate Designer in private label preferred
- Strong Adobe Illustrator skills, especially flat sketching and silhouette development.
- Solid understanding of garment construction and fit.
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and openness to feedback.
- on-site five days per week in Los Angeles.
- Start date: ASAP.
