Fashion and Lifestyle Brand is seeking a Assistant Color Designer to support a growing Color & Concept Design team within a leading consumer brand. You will help research trends, build and maintain color palettes, organize inspiration and reference materials, and support the development of fabric surface treatments, including heathers, color blocks, and washes.
Open to entry-level designers with a strong eye for color, excellent organization, and enthusiasm for seasonal creative development.
Responsibilities
- Support seasonal color, concept, and CAD development from research through presentation.
- Assist with color research, trend analysis, palette development, and creative reference materials.
- Create and update design files, color palettes, and digital boards using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Maintain color libraries, seasonal strike-offs, naming conventions, codes, and related documentation.
- Coordinate color-related requests with Design, Production, Merchandising, suppliers, and other cross-functional partners.
- Prepare and send materials and packages to internal teams and external partners.
- Provide administrative and organizational support throughout the color and concept development process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, Art, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience or a strong internship/portfolio background.
- Strong understanding of color theory, design research, and visual trend analysis.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team.
Contract – 40 hours/week
Hybrid Work Schedule – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
