Senior Canva Designer, Presentations, Infographics, Digital Design

Rate: $75/hr (w2)
Schedule: Variable hours, including 12-hour onsite event days
Contract: ASAP through November 13, with potential for ongoing/flex support
We’re looking for an exceptional Digital Designer to support high-profile, executive-facing events in New York City.
This is a highly visible role for someone who is not only an excellent digital designer, but also incredibly polished, organized, and confident working directly with senior stakeholders and executives in a fast-paced live event environment.
You’ll be in the rehearsal room with presenters and event teams, capturing real-time feedback and making live updates to presentations in Canva. The ideal candidate is someone who can stay calm under pressure, quickly interpret feedback, and execute design changes accurately and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Support the design and production of digital presentations for high-profile executive events
- Work directly in Canva to make real-time updates during rehearsals and event production
- Capture presenter and stakeholder feedback and translate changes quickly and accurately
- Edit and refine data visualizations, GIFs, slide transitions, animations, and other digital presentation elements
- Prepare and export presentation content into MP4 and other required formats for event playback
- Ensure presentations are polished, visually consistent, technically sound, and event-ready
- Collaborate closely with event producers, presenters, executives, and technical teams
- Participate in prep calls ahead of each event to align on expectations, presentation flow, and production needs
- Troubleshoot and make last-minute design adjustments in a high-pressure, live environment
What We’re Looking For

Strong digital design experience is required
- Advanced Canva skills and experience creating/editing sophisticated presentations
- Strong understanding of digital presentation design, motion, animation, transitions, and visual storytelling
- Experience working with data visualization and dynamic presentation content
- Ability to export and prepare assets for playback in different formats, including MP4
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain brand and visual consistency

- Comfortable receiving feedback in real time and making changes quickly
- Calm, confident, and highly organized in a live event environment
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Event, conference, executive presentation, broadcast, or live production experience is highly preferred
