Senior Content Marketing Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Content Marketing Specialist to develop high-impact B2B content supporting employer and payer audiences. This freelance, fully remote role is expected to begin as soon as possible and run through December 23, 2026.
What You’ll Do
- Create insight-driven articles, evergreen web content, sales enablement materials, and campaign content.
- Partner with subject-matter experts and newly hired industry thought leaders to develop written thought leadership, presentation decks, speaking materials, and related assets.
- Build approximately 10 B2B-focused articles to support paid media and lead-generation initiatives.
- Transform existing research, stakeholder interviews, case studies, and transcripts into clear, audience-ready content across formats such as web, white papers, and social media.
- Translate complex business insights and research into compelling content for target audiences.
- Collaborate effectively in a matrixed, regulated environment with senior stakeholders.What You Bring
- Approximately 10 years of professional content marketing, writing, or editorial experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, interviewing, and communication skills.
- Experience developing executive and thought-leadership content.
- Strong understanding of B2B buyers, market-driven content strategy, and content repurposing.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and proactively engage stakeholders.
- Executive presence and confidence working closely with subject-matter experts.
Preferred Background
- Experience in healthcare, benefits, financial services, or another complex B2B industry.
- Experience working within regulated industries.
Location
Fully remote. Candidates based in Minnesota are a plus.
