Creative Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Creative Operations Specialist to support a fast-paced media creative team within the beauty and retail space. This freelance opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of project management, creative workflow, and cross-functional communication.
In this role, you will help keep creative projects moving from intake through final delivery across paid and retail media channels. You will partner closely with creative leadership and collaborate with teams across creative, production, design, sales, and account management to ensure projects are clearly scoped, well tracked, and delivered on time.
You WILL:
- Support end-to-end creative operations across media creative projects, including intake, briefing, timelines, resourcing support, and delivery tracking
- Assist with the creative intake process by gathering project requirements, reviewing submissions for completeness, and identifying gaps or risks
- Build and maintain project timelines, status documents, and tracking reports to ensure milestones are met
- Coordinate day-to-day workflow across internal teams and external partners
- Organize status meetings, standups, and reviews, while documenting action items and follow-ups
- Help reinforce creative best practices, process consistency, and quality standards across deliverables
- Escalate timeline, workflow, or resourcing issues proactively
- Maintain accurate tracking in project management and collaboration tools
- Support ongoing process improvements, workflow documentation, templates, and SOPs
You HAVE:
- 2–4+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, trafficking, creative services, or a related function
- Experience working with creative, design, or marketing teams
- Agency, retail media, or consumer brand experience is a plus
- Familiarity with digital creative development across channels such as social, video, onsite, and offsite media
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Workfront, Monday.com, Figma, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
