Creative Project Manager

Employment Type: Freelance

We are seeking a Creative Project Manager to partner closely with brand leadership and drive the successful execution of creative initiatives from concept through final delivery. This role is ideal for a highly organized, solutions-oriented professional who can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to fast-moving projects while ensuring work remains on brand, on schedule, and aligned with business goals.

In addition to managing daily creative production, this person will help strengthen operational workflows, improve collaboration across teams, and build scalable systems that support efficient delivery of assets and campaigns. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to balance big-picture planning and detailed execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative projects from kickoff to completion, managing timelines, deliverables, approvals, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with brand leadership and cross-functional partners to align project execution with overall brand direction and business needs.
  • Create and manage clear, actionable project briefs that provide creative teams with the information and assets needed for success.
  • Maintain project management systems and boards to ensure visibility into schedules, responsibilities, and progress.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, and deadlines to keep creative work moving efficiently and on time.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and production partners to ensure accurate, timely delivery of materials.
  • Evaluate and improve internal processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency and collaboration.
  • Develop scalable project management frameworks that support a high-performing creative function.

Qualifications

  • 4-5+ years of experience in creative project management within brand, agency, startup, or similarly fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of creative development workflows, production processes, and project management best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across varied stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience with Monday.com or comparable project management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success improving workflows and driving operational efficiency.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
