A Luxury fashion brand is looking for a Merchandise Operations Coordinator opportunity. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, has strong sales support and order management experience, and brings advanced Excel skills.

Role: Merchandise Operations Coordinator
Location: Seal Beach, CA (Hybrid: Monday–Thursday onsite / Fridays work from home + Summer Fridays)
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 + Bonus (DOE)

About the Role:
This role will serve as a key operational partner supporting day-to-day merchandise operations, sales support, and order flow management for a growing division. Reporting into the VP of Operations, this person will act as a central point of contact across sales, warehouse, operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless execution, strong communication, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accurate order entry, processing, maintenance, and updates while ensuring compliance with customer and internal requirements

• Oversee order allocation and warehouse flow to support fulfillment accuracy and shipping timelines

• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for Sales Representatives, providing updates, troubleshooting support, and issue resolution

• Present weekly operational recaps to the sales team, including product availability, shipping updates, order corrections, and key business updates

• Analyze operational data and reporting to support business decisions and process improvements

• Support standardization and documentation of operational workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors

• Partner cross-functionally with sales, warehouse, operations, finance, and customer support teams

Qualifications:
• 2–3+ years of experience in merchandise operations, sales support, wholesale coordination, or order management

• Luxury, fashion, jewelry, wholesale apparel, or premium consumer goods experience strongly preferred

Advanced Excel skills are required and will be tested
Must be highly proficient in:

  • Pivot Tables
  • VLOOKUPs
  • SUMIFs
  • Reporting / data analysis

• Experience with ERP systems required (RLM preferred)

• EDI experience required

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
