Director, Integrated Brand Marketing

We are seeking a Director, Integrated Brand Marketing to lead the end-to-end execution of a fully integrated marketing campaign, from initial kickoff through post-launch analysis. This freelance opportunity is ideal for a seasoned marketing leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings order to complex initiatives, and can drive cross-functional alignment across multiple channels and stakeholders.
In this role, you will partner closely with brand leadership and cross-functional teams to oversee campaign operations spanning creative, production, paid media, retail media, influencer, organic social, and lifecycle/CRM. You will be responsible for ensuring that timelines are tightly managed, dependencies are clearly tracked, and execution remains coordinated from planning through final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated campaign coordination across major workstreams, ensuring teams remain aligned, informed, and on schedule.
- Develop and manage a master campaign plan with clear milestones, owners, deliverables, and interdependencies.
- Create launch run-of-show documentation, including asset deadlines, approvals, sequencing, and live go-to-market coordination.
- Translate strategic campaign objectives into executable phases across pre-launch, launch, sustainment, and wrap-up.
- Support retail and trade marketing activation planning to align broader campaign execution with partner and channel requirements.
- Build and maintain essential operational documents, including project briefs, kickoff decks, RACIs, status trackers, meeting notes, and approval logs.
- Facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings with internal teams, agencies, and external vendors to maintain momentum and accountability.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate issues as needed to keep the campaign moving forward.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in integrated marketing, campaign management, brand operations, account leadership, or a related discipline.
- Strong consumer brand or CPG experience with a clear understanding of how creative, media, retail, and trade teams work together.
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns across creative, paid media, influencer, organic social, retail media, and CRM.
- Experience incorporating retail media strategy into larger campaign planning and execution.
- Outstanding project management capabilities, including timeline creation, launch planning, stakeholder coordination, and workflow management.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to remain calm and effective under tight timelines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complexity and keep teams aligned.
- Comfortable operating in a senior-level freelance capacity with minimal ramp-up time.
