Director of Stores
Location: Remote, with frequent travel across assigned regions
We are seeking a seasoned retail leader with deep swimwear experience to oversee store performance, field leadership, and customer experience across a growing multi-unit business. This individual will bring a strong understanding of fit, product education, seasonal assortment, and the highly personal customer journey that defines the swimwear category.
What You Will Lead
- Own performance across multiple retail locations, including sales, conversion, productivity, payroll, and profitability.
- Lead and develop Regional and Store Managers through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability.
- Build consistent in-store execution around swimwear fit, styling, product knowledge, and service standards.
- Partner with teams across Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and People to improve business results.
- Use store-level insights to identify opportunities in assortment, staffing, inventory, clienteling, and customer experience.
- Support new store openings, seasonal launches, promotions, and high-volume selling periods.
- Maintain a visible field presence, stepping in when stores or leaders need additional support.
Background
- 7+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience, including oversight of multiple stores and senior field leaders.
- Strong swimwear, intimates, specialty apparel, or fit-driven consumer brand background required.
- Experience leading teams through product education, fit consultations, and elevated customer service.
- Demonstrated success improving sales, KPIs, labor management, and store profitability.
- Strong business judgment, leadership presence, and ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution.
- Comfortable traveling regularly, including occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight trips.
