Director, Special Events
Lead the strategy, development, and execution of a premium brand’s special events and experiential marketing portfolio. This senior leadership role will create immersive experiences that strengthen customer connections, elevate brand positioning, and deliver measurable business impact.

Job Location: Westchester, Southern CT, Northern NJ or NYC

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute an annual experiential marketing and events strategy aligned with campaigns, product launches, retail initiatives, partnerships, and community priorities.
  • Lead high-profile events including consumer activations, retail openings, influencer experiences, press previews, wholesale events, executive engagements, and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, PR, Creative, Social, Retail, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Wholesale, and Product teams to deliver integrated brand moments.
  • Oversee end-to-end event production, including concepts, venues, logistics, staffing, hospitality, vendors, budgets, and post-event reporting.
  • Establish KPIs for attendance, engagement, earned media, social impact, customer acquisition, brand sentiment, sales impact, and ROI.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing events team while managing agencies, freelancers, and external partners.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in experiential marketing, special events, hospitality, brand activations, or related fields.
  • Proven success delivering complex, multi-market event programs and high-impact experiential campaigns.
  • Exceptional leadership, creative storytelling, project management, budgeting, negotiation, and operational skills.
  • Strong network of production agencies, hospitality partners, venues, vendors, and creative collaborators.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed—including occasional evenings and weekends.
