Job description

Experience Designer, Marketing Front Door

Employment Type: Freelance

About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level Experience Designer to shape and continuously improve high-impact marketing experiences across a leading consumer technology company. In this role, you will design and test content templates, campaign landing pages, and localized web experiences that create strong first impressions and support measurable customer engagement.

You will translate established design systems, brand standards, and reusable toolkits into fast, cohesive, conversion-minded experiences. Working closely with web operations, channel leaders, analytics partners, stakeholders, and agency teams, you will ensure every customer-facing entry point is on-brand, technically feasible, and informed by performance data.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and iterate on marketing content pages, campaign landing pages, and localized web experiences.
  • Own the connection between visual design and on-page messaging, creating cohesive customer journeys from layout through calls to action.
  • Create hypothesis-driven design variations and partner with analytics and measurement teams to evaluate test performance.
  • Apply and help evolve design systems, brand playbooks, and reusable component libraries.
  • Collaborate with web operations to ensure designs are buildable, performant, accessible, and accurately implemented within CMS and template constraints.
  • Translate campaign goals and business requirements into clear, effective experience design solutions.
  • Brief, guide, and quality-check agency-produced creative against design system and experimentation standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, customer research, and cross-functional planning to improve customer outcomes.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across content, campaign, and regional or local-market experiences.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in experience design, product design, or digital marketing design.
  • Experience creating growth, conversion, content, or customer acquisition experiences.
  • Advanced Figma skills, including component libraries, Auto Layout, variables, design tokens, and prototyping.
  • Demonstrated experience designing within—and contributing to—established design systems and brand guidelines.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, or using quantitative insights to inform design decisions.
  • Strong visual design skills across responsive web experiences, including content pages and landing pages.
  • Strong copywriting instincts and the ability to refine headlines, body content, and calls to action in partnership with content and brand teams.
  • A customer-centered mindset with the ability to balance user needs, brand standards, and business objectives.
  • An online portfolio featuring published marketing, content, or customer-facing digital experience work.

Key Skills

  • Figma: components, variables, Auto Layout, prototyping, and design-system contribution
  • Experimentation: hypothesis development, variant design, and test-result interpretation
  • Design systems, reusable libraries, and brand toolkits
  • Responsive content, campaign, and localized web-page design
  • Marketing copywriting and content hierarchy
  • Wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and clear UI specifications
  • Cross-functional collaboration with web, marketing, analytics, and agency partners
  • Quality assurance and implementation review

How You’ll Work

You will partner daily with web operations teams to keep experiences scalable, performant, and true to design intent. You will also collaborate closely with channel owners, strategic stakeholders, agency partners, designers, researchers, and measurement teams to move experimentation forward and turn insights into better customer experiences.
