Figma Migration Program Lead | Contract
40hrs, M-F 9-6pm, 9 months with high potential to extend

We’re looking for an experienced Figma expert and program leader to spearhead a large-scale migration from Sketch to Figma, leading the initiative from discovery and workspace design through deployment, training, and long-term adoption.
This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who understands both Figma administration and creative team workflows, and can build structure and processes in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment.
The Role
- Own the overall Sketch-to-Figma migration strategy, timeline, and execution
- Assess existing design workflows and identify opportunities to streamline collaboration and improve efficiency
- Develop the Figma ecosystem, including workspace structure, file organization, libraries, teams, permissions, and governance
- Establish scalable standards and processes that support a large, distributed creative organization
- Partner with internal stakeholders to determine access requirements and ensure sensitive and unreleased work is appropriately protected
- Develop and facilitate Figma onboarding, education, and training programs for users with varying levels of experience
- Lead communications and change management initiatives that encourage adoption and minimize disruption
- Act as the internal Figma subject matter expert, helping teams troubleshoot issues and adopt best practices
- Stay current on Figma releases, enterprise functionality, integrations, and emerging capabilities
- Work directly with Figma and internal technology partners to evaluate new features and integration opportunities
- Track program milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder needs through implementation
- Gather feedback after launch and continuously refine the platform, processes, and user experience
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, implementation, consulting, or creative technology
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Figma, including enterprise features and administration
- Experience leading a technology migration, platform rollout, or enterprise implementation
- Strong understanding of creative and design workflows
- Proven ability to create structure where processes and requirements are not yet clearly defined
- Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams across a complex organization
- Experience leading organizational change, training, and technology adoption
- Excellent communicator who can translate technical or complex concepts into clear, practical guidance
- Strong judgment and discretion when working with confidential, proprietary, or unreleased creative work
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, design, production, product, and technology teams
- Experience with collaboration and productivity tools such as Keynote, Numbers, Slack, or similar platforms
Nice to Have: Experience in UX/UI, design systems, front-end development, or creative operations.
