Freelance Business Analyst (Beauty)

Rate: $50-55hr DOE
Client Overview: Our client is a global leader in the beauty and consumer goods industry.
Role Overview: The Business Analyst will support data management, allocation setup, and operational coordination activities related to a new implementation.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up Excel files using advanced Excel functions including formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
- Transfer and organize data from existing files into new templates for IT system uploads.
- Perform self-training using recorded sessions to build proficiency in allocation setup and entry procedures.
- Execute data entry activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate updates and published order forms to the commerce team.
- Manage future launch order form files and follow up with Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage tracking files to monitor project status, workload, and progress updates.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to support system implementation and data governance initiatives.
Business Analyst Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of master data concepts including taxonomy, data modeling, data governance, and data literacy tools.
- Advanced Excel and data profiling skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience within the beauty or consumer goods industry is preferred
