Freelance- Sample Coordinator

A well- known fashion brand is looking for a Sample Coordinator.

About the Role
This role is a key partner to the Product Development team, owning seasonal sample management and maintaining PLM systems to ensure accurate tracking, timelines, and cross-functional alignment from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end sample management each season (ordering, tracking, organizing, storing)
• Maintain and update sample/style data within PLM systems
• Track samples from proto through SMS and PP stages
• Prepare samples for meetings, reviews, and special projects
• Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Creative, PR, Tech Design, Production, and vendors
• Communicate with overseas vendors to manage timelines and resolve issues
• Coordinate sample shipments (DHL), including sending and receiving packages
• Monitor vendor performance and report on on-time delivery

Qualifications
• 1–2 years of experience in apparel or product development
• Strong knowledge of PLM systems and Excel
• Understanding of garment construction and development lifecycle
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
