Job description

Graphic Designer – Visual Merchandising

Join a well-known Southern California apparel brand and help shape how seasonal stories come to life across retail locations. This role is ideal for a designer with strong visual merchandising graphics experience who can translate creative direction into polished, easy-to-execute store communication tools.

  • Create print and presentation materials that support floor sets, promotional moments, fixture updates, and retail display changes across store environments.
  • Design clear, brand-right visual merchandising graphics that help store teams accurately implement campaigns and layout direction.
  • Partner with merchandising, creative, and other internal stakeholders to turn concepts into compelling, user-friendly visual documents.
  • Adapt design solutions for different store formats, footprints, and business needs, including alternate versions when required.
  • Produce high-quality assets using Adobe Creative Suite, with heavy emphasis on InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Contribute to additional design needs tied to store refreshes, new location launches, product introductions, and special initiatives.
  • Manage multiple assignments at once while maintaining strong organization, accuracy, and deadline-driven execution.
  • Refine layouts and processes based on field input, internal feedback, and evolving brand standards.
  • Help elevate the consistency and effectiveness of store-facing materials through thoughtful design and attention to detail.

Preferred Background

  • 3+ years of graphic design experience, ideally in retail, fashion, consumer brands, or related environments.
  • Proven background creating visual merchandising graphics or store communication materials.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to balance creative quality with practical execution for store teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and comfort handling several projects in parallel.
