Jr. Paid Media Specialist
This full-time Jr. Paid Media Specialist role is ideal for an analytical, creative self-starter who’s excited to learn the ins and outs of performance marketing. You’ll help plan, build, and optimize paid campaigns that drive measurable results across multiple digital platforms. Working closely with our marketing and content teams, you’ll contribute to campaigns that grow our audience, increase engagement, and generate revenue.
About the Role
As a Jr. Paid Media Specialist, you’ll be hands-on in campaign execution—from trafficking and QA to daily optimizations and reporting. You’ll gain experience in paid social and paid search, learn how to analyze performance data, and play a key role in scaling campaigns efficiently. This position is well-suited for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in digital advertising.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building, launching, and managing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube.
- Perform daily checks on active campaigns, monitoring pacing, budgets, delivery, and performance against KPIs.
- Support A/B testing strategies for creative, copy, audiences, and landing pages to improve CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
- Help implement and maintain tracking pixels, UTMs, and conversion events to ensure accurate attribution and reporting.
- Compile weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with the creative and social teams to brief, review, and refine ad assets for various platforms and formats.
- Conduct basic audience and keyword research to inform targeting and campaign structure.
- Stay current on platform updates, emerging formats, and best practices, sharing insights with the broader team.
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or a related analytical role (internships and freelance work are welcome).
- Familiarity with at least one major ads platform (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads) is a plus but not required.
- Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with data in spreadsheets or dashboards.
- High attention to detail, especially when working with budgets, links, and reporting.
- Curiosity about how performance marketing works and a desire to test, learn, and iterate.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
- Interest in digital trends, online culture, and how audiences engage with brands and content.
Location: 3x per week in Brooklyn, NY
