Role Overview: The Key Account Coordinator plays a critical support role for strategic retail accounts by assisting with account operations, sales analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. This position helps ensure the successful execution of business initiatives, promotional programs, and product launches while maintaining strong internal and external communication.
Key Account Coordinator Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support for key retail account activities.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, forecasts, business reviews, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate product introductions, promotional campaigns, and assortment changes with internal stakeholders.
- Manage item setup information, pricing updates, and promotional schedules to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor purchase orders, inventory status, and shipment timelines to support on-time execution.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and retail partners to facilitate smooth communication.
- Collect, analyze, and report on sales trends, performance metrics, and market insights.
- Schedule meetings, maintain account records, and assist with special projects and ad hoc requests.
Key Account Coordinator Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, account coordination, retail operations, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with retail, consumer goods, or beauty industry accounts is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
