Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Leave of Absence Manager to oversee and administer employee leave programs, including FMLA, long-term disability, military leave, personal leave, and other company-supported leave types. This role serves as a key resource for employees and HR, ensuring leave processes are handled efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, long-term disability, military leave, personal leave, and related programs.
- Ensure leave requests are processed accurately and within required timelines.
- Partner with HR to provide guidance on leave policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Address employee concerns with empathy, consistency, and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate records of leave requests, approvals, and related documentation.
- Monitor compliance with applicable leave laws and company policy.
- Track leave trends, duration, leave types, and return-to-work status for leadership reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of leave of absence management experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on process improvement.

Physical Demands:
