OUR CLIENT IS A HIGH END WOMEN’S DESIGNER APPAREL BRAND SEEKING A STRONG ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE BASED IN NYC


Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Executive to support and execute across our global wholesale business. This role is heavily operational and requires someone who can manage multiple workflows with precision, maintain strong communication across teams, and ensure all aspects of the wholesale process run seamlessly.

The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where strong follow-through and accountability are critical.


Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Operations & Execution

  • Support the day-to-day management of wholesale accounts across department stores and specialty retailers
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date tracking across all wholesale workflows (sales, shipping, outreach, and inventory)
  • Ensure timely follow-ups with accounts on orders, deliveries, and outstanding actions
  • Partner cross-functionally with production, logistics, and finance to track order status and resolve issues

Order & Shipping Management

  • Oversee order lifecycle execution from market to delivery
  • Track shipping status by account and communicate updates clearly and consistently
  • Manage cancel dates, extensions, and EDI-related requests with accounts
  • Flag delays, risks, or discrepancies proactively

Inventory & Reorder Support

  • Monitor ATS inventory and flag reorder opportunities
  • Support execution of reorders and ensure alignment with account needs
  • Maintain visibility into inventory flow and gaps

Specialty Store Management (Domestic)

  • Take the lead on select domestic specialty store accounts
  • Support selling, follow-ups, and relationship management
  • Identify opportunities for growth within assigned accounts

Market Preparation & Follow-Up

  • Assist in preparation for market appointments (linesheets, assets, sample coordination)
  • Support during market appointments as needed
  • Own post-market follow-ups, order entry, and tracking

Sample & Asset Coordination

  • Track sample availability and movement across market, press, and wholesale needs
  • Ensure all assets (linesheets, pricing, product information) are accurate and up to date

Reporting & Systems

  • Maintain accuracy across platforms (JOOR, internal systems, and selling tools)
  • Support weekly reporting on wholesale performance, shipping updates, and key initiatives
  • Ensure all trackers are consistently updated and reliable

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of wholesale or sales operations experience in luxury or contemporary RTW
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills across internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency in tools such as JOOR, Excel, and ERP systems
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership over execution
