Marketing Director (primarily B2B)
Fulltime, Salaried Position
Onsite 5x per week (no exceptions)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Salary: $120-135K
About the Role
Our client is a home product seller. They use earth-friendly products to create remarkable pieces such as fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, wood-burning stoves, etc. They are seeking a Marketing Director to help build and scale an internal marketing department.
Strategy & Planning
- Set the overall marketing strategy aligned with business goals
- Define target audiences and positioning
- Plan campaigns across channels (digital, events, PR, etc.)
- Allocate budgets and forecast ROI
Brand & Positioning
- Shape how the company is perceived in the market
- Ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Oversee brand identity (tone, visuals, voice)
Campaign Oversight
- Approve and guide marketing campaigns
- Monitor performance (leads, conversions, revenue impact)
- Adjust strategy based on data
Team Leadership
- Current team is made up of marketing assistant, designer and social media marketer
- Hire, train, and develop talent
- You will be expected to grow and scale an internal marketing team
- Set KPIs and hold the team accountable
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales
- Align with Product, Finance, and Leadership teams
- Ensure marketing supports overall business objectives
Budget & ROI Ownership
- Control the marketing budget
- Decide where to invest (ads, content, events, tech)
- Prove return on investment

Cross-functional collaboration — Marketing touches just about every department, so the right person will be able to work across teams both internally and externally.

Project management — Strong organization!! They will need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.

Lead generation & sales support — Be able to develop strategy that brings in qualified demand to support sales & can connect marketing campaigns to support revenue goals.

Budget management — Experienced in building and managing budgets, utilizing past data to make decisions.
Responsibilities:

B2B & channel marketing — Comfortable with B2B marketing and marketing across multiple trade audiences

Technical product marketing — Able to translate technical details into clear, relevant benefits for our audiences.

Content strategy (written & design) — Can guide both written and visual content direction.

Digital marketing & SEO — Strong digital foundation, including SEO.

Merchandise oversight — Able to make informed decisions on inventory and advise path forward as ecommerce storefront becomes ready to launch
Experience with the following:
• SEO and SEM expertise to improve search visibility and drive qualified traffic
• Digital campaign strategy and execution across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and targeted audience platforms
• Campaign performance tracking and analysis to optimize results and ROI
• Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM (or comparable platforms)
• Highly deadline-driven, with strong project and time management skills
• Ability to unify multiple brand lines into a cohesive and consistent brand presence
