Menswear Technical Designer

Employment Type: Full-Time

Mens Sportswear company is seeking a detail-oriented Menswear Technical Designer to support the development of high-quality apparel from concept through production. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in both knit and woven garments, with a preference for menswear experience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Create and maintain accurate spec sheets and technical packs
– Support garment fit development, grading, and measurement review
– Partner with design, production, and vendors to ensure product consistency and quality
– Assist the Senior Technical Designer with daily technical development tasks
– Help manage fit sessions and communicate updates clearly to cross-functional teams
– Contribute to the development of knit and woven apparel categories

Qualifications:

– 3-5 years of technical design experience in apparel
– Menswear experience preferred; childrenswear experience also welcomed
– Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and fabric behavior
– Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
– Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
