Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Motion Designer to create visually engaging content that brings event and entertainment brands to life across digital and live platforms. This role is ideal for a highly creative visual storyteller with strong technical ability, a sharp design eye, and experience producing motion assets in fast-paced environments.
The Motion Designer will develop animated content, edit promotional videos, and contribute supporting visual assets used in marketing campaigns, social media, and live event experiences. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building polished motion graphics from scratch, working within established brand systems, and managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of creative quality.
Key Responsibilities
– Design and animate motion graphics for digital campaigns, social content, and live event visuals
– Edit short-form promotional videos, trailers, teasers, and branded content
– Create animated assets that support audience growth, engagement, and ticket sales
– Extend and apply visual identities across multiple campaigns and branded properties
– Develop supporting static assets including social graphics, posters, and promotional materials
– Collaborate with creative leadership and internal teams to translate ideas into high-impact visual content
– Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
– 3-5 years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or a related creative field
– Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, editing, and graphic design work
– Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
– Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
– Comfort using Canva for quick-turn or template-based asset creation
– Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, pacing, and brand consistency
– Ability to receive feedback, work collaboratively, and contribute original ideas
– Excellent organization and time management skills
– Knowledge of current design, video, and social media trends
Preferred Experience
– Experience in entertainment, nightlife, music, live events, or experiential marketing
– Background creating assets for both digital campaigns and in-person event environments
– Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools such as Midjourney, Firefly, or similar platforms
