Sr. National Account Manager – ULTA + Sephora

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Manhattan, NY (4 days per week onsite)

The Sr. National Account Manager – ULTA will play a key role in leading strategic account management efforts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening retail partnerships. This position is responsible for developing and executing account strategies, analyzing performance, managing forecasts, and collaborating cross-functionally to support commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead management of a major specialty retail account, with responsibility for driving growth across in-store and digital channels.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue, improve account performance, and expand market presence.
  • Track and analyze weekly, monthly, and annual sales metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Own forecasting and budget planning for the account, including ongoing adjustments based on business trends and performance.
  • Partner closely with marketing, commercial planning, supply chain, and other internal teams to align on launches, promotions, and retailer priorities.
  • Lead sell-through and business review presentations, using data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external retail partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor industry, category, and consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective account planning and execution.
  • Support broader commercial goals by ensuring account strategies align with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing national or key accounts within beauty, skincare, personal care, or a related consumer products industry.
  • Strong background working with specialty retail partners, preferably including ULTA and other major beauty retailers.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing sales strategies that drive measurable business growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
  • Experience with forecasting, budget management, and account planning.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence internal and external partners.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to manage across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
  • Leadership qualities that include accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to developing strong teams and partnerships.
