PM, Product Development

We are seeking a Freelance PM, Product Development to lead the coordination and execution of product initiatives from concept to launch. This role is ideal for a highly organized project management professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can keep multiple development tracks moving efficiently.

The PM, Product Development will work cross-functionally with product development, packaging, creative, marketing, and other internal partners to ensure timelines, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved. This person will help create visibility across active projects, proactively address risks, and support process improvements that enhance team efficiency and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive project timelines for new product launches and product update initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align on priorities, deliverables, and key deadlines.
  • Monitor progress across multiple projects and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns that may impact launch schedules.
  • Lead project meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through on next steps.
  • Support project intake, scoping, and prioritization to ensure smooth execution.
  • Improve operational workflows and introduce process enhancements where needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to development progress, milestones, and dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience.
  • Background in beauty, consumer products, CPG, or a similarly fast-moving industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex timelines and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project tracking tools and stakeholder reporting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and maintain momentum in a changing environment.
