Job description

Global Beauty Brand is seeking a Product Development Coordinator within the color cosmetics space.

You will be responsible for helping bring new beauty products from concept through evaluation and refinement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about makeup artistry and texture innovation, and has a strong eye for color theory and emerging beauty trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating technical and creative product development briefs for laboratory partners.
  • Evaluate formula, shade, texture, scent, application, and wear performance of product submissions.
  • Provide direction on shade adjustments, undertones, and color matching across diverse skin tones.
  • Track formula iterations, maintain organized feedback logs, and manage approved standards.
  • Coordinate internal product testing panels and compile feedback.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and monitor market, social, and ingredient trends.
  • Present innovative texture, application, and color trend ideas to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with laboratory, marketing, packaging, and regulatory partners to support development goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetology, Marketing, Business, or a related scientific or creative discipline.
  • 2–4 years of product development experience, ideally in color cosmetics.
  • Direct experience in lip category development is strongly preferred.
  • Beauty retail experience is a plus.
  • Strong visual color perception and ability to articulate sensory texture characteristics.
  • Deep interest in beauty industry trends, pop culture, and social media-driven innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Contract- 40 hours/week
