We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Development Coordinator to support a fast-paced consumer products team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with physical products, packaging, and cross-functional project coordination from early concept through launch.

The Product Development Coordinator will help maintain organization across product and packaging initiatives, including sample tracking, testing coordination, documentation, vendor communication, and project follow-up. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain product, packaging, and customer samples, ensuring materials are labeled, documented, and easy to locate.
  • Coordinate product and packaging sample requests, shipments, inventory, and approvals across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Support product and packaging testing by preparing materials, tracking sample status, documenting feedback, and maintaining testing records.
  • Create and maintain product specifications, testing protocols, product information, and other development documentation.
  • Manage the day-to-day organization of packaging components, artwork files, samples, and approval histories.
  • Assist with project timelines, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up communications.
  • Support product development initiatives from concept development through launch readiness.
  • Serve as a reliable point of coordination for sample management and packaging testing processes.
  • Identify gaps or risks in project tracking and escalate issues to the appropriate team members.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in product development, packaging, operations, project coordination, or a related internship.
  • Interest in consumer products, beauty, personal care, retail, or product development.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple samples, projects, deadlines, and moving priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfort following direction while taking initiative to keep workstreams organized and moving forward.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort creating clear, accurate, and well-organized documentation.
  • Experience with packaging development, sample management, or vendor coordination is helpful but not required.
