Production & Sourcing Manager

An emerging lifestyle and apparel brand is seeking a Production & Sourcing Manager to lead fabric sourcing, production execution, replenishment strategy, and vendor performance. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving product environment and knows how to balance design intent, costing, calendar management, and operational excellence.

This person will serve as a key partner across product creation, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to keep development and production on track from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing experience, sharp negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to solving issues before they affect timeline, margin, or inventory flow.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead sourcing and production activities across fabric, finished goods, and replenishment needs
  • Build and manage production calendars to support launch timing and business priorities
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop supplier partnerships that improve quality, speed, and value
  • Negotiate material and production costs to support margin goals
  • Create visibility into costing, order status, production milestones, and transit updates
  • Partner cross-functionally with design, planning, marketing, and operations teams
  • Oversee purchase order flow and ensure approvals are completed on time
  • Monitor compliance with shipping and routing requirements
  • Support documentation related to logistics, customs, bills of lading, and invoice processing
  • Help establish scalable processes, tools, and operating standards across production

What Makes You a Fit

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or supply chain within consumer goods, apparel, or related industries
  • Previous management-level responsibility within a production or sourcing function
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple timelines, priorities, and deliverables with accuracy
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional partnership skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and production or PLM systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, business, supply chain, fashion, or a related field preferred
